YCL Meeting Minutes 

YCLs, we know you have busy schedules, and we are so grateful for the time and effort you are willing to give in serving our girls this year as youth camp leaders. We understand that you may not be able to attend every meeting, so we have created a central place where you can find information from missed meetings, along with assignments and preparation details for upcoming ones. The role of YCL is an opportunity-based position, open to those who will be ages 16–18 during the 2026 year; it is NOT a default calling. This role is available to those who show interest and demonstrate commitment by staying informed and prepared, including regularly checking this website if meetings are missed. Thank you again for your service—we are so excited to see how your leadership, creativity, and dedication will help create an amazing camp experience for our young women this year. 

*Participants serving as Youth Camp Leaders (YCLs) have the opportunity to camp with the other YCLs. This opportunity is for those who show their support, participation, and effort prior to attending camp by being involved in preparation and fulfilling their responsibilities ahead of time—not simply by showing up to camp expecting to receive an assignment.

Those who choose not to take on or participate in these responsibilities before camp are still welcome to attend; however, they will camp with their ward alongside the other Young Women campers. Both options are available, depending on the level of involvement they choose.
