📣 3 SHORT AIR HORN BLASTS (repeat as needed)
“ASSEMBLE”
Used for:
• Lost camper / Immediate head Count
• Weather concern (lightning, storm watch)
• Wildlife sighting of concern
• Un-welcomed visitor concern
• Fire not immediately threatening the lodge
• Any situation requiring instructions
Action:
• All units gather calmly but quickly at the Lodge Flagpole Meeting Area
• Leaders bring Ward rosters/ Stake rosters
• Take headcount
• Await direction
*If the lodge exterior is unsafe, leaders will direct to the lodge interior.

🚨 CAMP-WIDE SIREN (Continuous – Ranger Activated Only)
“CRITICAL – MOVE TO LODGE IMMEDIATELY”
Used for:
• Law enforcement directive
• Extreme weather emergency
• Full camp evacuation preparation
• Any life-threatening situation
Action:
• Stop all activities immediately
• Move quickly and calmly to the Lodge Interior
• Leaders bring rosters if safely accessible
• Prepare for emergency instructions or evacuation
This is the highest-level emergency signal.

🔥 If Fire Is Discovered
• Alert Camp Director immediately.
• If evacuation is needed → Use 3 SHORT BLASTS.
• If life-threatening or spreading rapidly → Ranger activates SIREN.⸻
👣 Lost Camper Procedure
1. Notify Camp Director immediately.
2. Director sounds 3 SHORT BLASTS.
3. All units assemble at Lodge Flagpole.
4. Headcount taken.
5. Search assignments organized.

🌩 Severe Weather
• Lightning or storm watch → 3 SHORT BLASTS (Assemble)
• Tornado warning / extreme danger → SIREN

Leader Responsibilities
• Always know your headcount.
• Keep roster accessible.
• Know what Stake Leaders carry an air horn during activities.
• Review signals with girls on Day 1.
• Stay calm. Move quickly. No running unless directed.

Air Horn- Gather Outside at Lodge Flagpole
Siren- Go Inside Lodge Immediately
When in doubt- Gather and wait for direction
